SHOW #2:

Patty and Michael who used to own Lulu's Restaurant in Livingston, NJ are opening up a new restaurant.... Avenue Bistro and Pub at 558 Bloomfield Avenue in Verona at the end of this week and they've asked me to hang my paintings. Five of my large oil canvases are hanging, as well as five of my watercolors. They will be there through at least February.


OTHER NEWS TO REPORT:

Maine Memories won an Award of Merit at the Essex Watercolor Members Show and was on display during November at Crane's Mill in West Caldwell New Jersey.

And did you catch the photo of me with my paintings in the window of Tom Veniero's Photography Studio on Bloomfield Avenue? He took the shots at Art on the Oval in September.

Sunflowers, recieved the Blick Art Materials Award from the North East Watercolor Society, 32nd Annual International Juried Exhibition.

The exhibition runs through November 9, 2008 at the Art Gallery in Kent Connecticut.

East Hampton Morning as been accepted into the juried NJWCS show!
The show is an incredible one... Opening October 11 and running through October 31 at the Ridgewood Art Institute. I am honored that my painting is part of such a wonderful exhibit.

Also, in other news, My exhibit a the (rainy) Milburn Art Fair a few weeks ago garnered an Award of Merit.

Three of my paintings are hanging in the Essex County Watercolor Society Group Show at Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ through October 27, 2007. My painting, Sunflowers, the splash screen on my website, was awarded an Award of Excellence. The show was judged by Gregory Bruno, an elected "Signature Member" of the American Watercolor Society and many other prestigious art associations. Bruno commented on the painting's "bold use of color and texture."
